14. Water

There is water dripping or steam coming from the heater

The heater is a dry appliance. It does not use water and has no pipes going to the heater. Any water dripping from the heater, or steam coming from the heater means that:

 - On a newly installed heater, the bricks were probably fitted whilst wet. The customer needs to take this up with the installer. It is likely to have permanently damaged the heaters internal insulation material. The installer will have to pay for a new heater if this is the case. Only clean dry bricks can be installed.

 - On a heater which has been installed for months with no prior issues, the heater has got wet from another source. Likely to be something spilt onto the heater or a damp wall?

None of these are warranty issues, they are all external influences.
